Photographs
Martha's Vineyard is one of the most photographed locations in the country. From the dramatic clay cliffs of Aquinnah to the Cape Poge lighthouse on Chappaquiddick, photographers have been capturing the Island's iconic landmarks for more than a century.
Preserved in the Martha's Vineyard Museum's collections are images that capture the Island through the years; its changing landscape, events and celebrations, destruction, businesses, vehicles and vessels, and the faces of Vineyarders themselves.
